Ballet

At RC Performing Arts we provide ISTD Imperial Classical Ballet training.  This beautiful genre is based on the teaching of the French School at the Paris Opéra. Imperial Classical Ballet focuses on developing technique and creating an understanding of musicality.

Children can enrol in ballet classes from 2.5 years old at RC Performing Arts.  Our Baby Ballet and Pre-school classes are fun, imaginative classes where students can move to the music and learn the first steps in ballet dance.

From the age of 5, children can begin Imperial Ballet graded examinations.  From the Pre-Primary class exam to Grade 6, exams aim to build on technique whilst developing a sense of grace, musicality and a joy of dance.

RC Performing Arts can offer Vocational Training to students who show great potential.  Intermediate Foundation to Advanced 2 exams are designed to enrich the training of students who may wish to dance professionally and/or enter the teaching profession.
